Plainfield Village Center is a hallmark project planned for the remaining 37 acre commercial parcel of the Wallin Woods project situated at the intersection of IL Route 126 and US 30, ½ mile west of Route 59. Meridian, in its capacity as Development Manager for the property owner, is seeking approval one of the largest mixed-use projects in the entire Chicago metropolitan area. Plainfield Village Center is currently proposed to include 168,000 SF of retail/office space, 566 mid-rise apartments/condo units, 84 mid-rise luxury condos, 144 townhomes, and 30 duplexes all encompassed in a unique town center project complete with  fully landscaped and hardscaped streets to retain the quaint small-town feel. Plainfield Village Center will establish the town as a destination among the south and west suburbs.
